Hey everyone, due to recent events regarding Mustang forums a couple of us have decided to put together our own.It is something I have been working on for a while, and decided that the time may be right. We feel that, with a number of the bigger forums being bought up by corporate media companies, the independent and unbiased views we once shared freely on the forums could be a thing of the past. or basically we are out to build a less commercialized forum.  So we put together  'The Mustang Stop' It is just starting out, but slowly gaining some ground. So if you have room for 1 more Mustang site in your busy day, stop by and check us out, we welcome any and all criticism and we wouldn't mind it if you hung around for a while either.  Grin

Thanks

j/k

Honestly I am not fond of the graphics, but they are better then the 'stock' graphics that come with phpBB3. I am working with a designer to re-skin the site a little. I have a photo gallery/album running on there, I have a 'garage' planned. As far as growth.... I want it to take off, I am covered on hosting for a while, and when the time comes we'll move to a better host. I am looking for a great all around Mustang site, tech articles, member projects, great off topic lounge, classifieds, etc...
My question to all, what do YOU want to see out of it???

Rusty, I would not worry to much on bling as I would good people. I have been fortunenate to have good solid people here. TNR is small and I like it that way. I would like 200 members one day though. Also I plan on upgrading soon as well..I guess the way I look at it, if they stay when it is ugly they will really enjoy it when its pretty.

I agree that you have good solid people here and I have had the pleasure of getting to know a few of them on a personal level. Bigger is not always better.

I can't pick because I have roots in the north but live in the south. It would be helpful to know who will be represent each side. Oh, I know. I pick the team who is the craziest and has the most fun. Party poopers can stay home. lol.

I am really not looking for too much bling, which is why I don't care for the current style. It all about the people, you get right type of members, and it will grow, take here for example 11k+ posts in just over 8 months. I would think that is pretty good. I would love that.
