I have had good luck with Demon's and my Holley HP. I have owned a pro system and i really was not that impressed. But if you had to pick one for a race carb from these carbs who wins?

For what my carb was originally built, my Pro-Systems carb was great out of the box.
I retuned it to the 347, it's a tad on the small side and could use down leg's vs. anular.

But I also feel, that if you have the time and patience. My next carb would be a standard Holley HP/ quick fuel, and i'd tune it myself to my combo at the track

I have had great luck with Both Pro Systems and AED.  Lately, I lean toward AED.  They are very close right out of the Box!

My Vote  AED

"Demon Carburetion" is now a different company than Barry Grant. They purchased Barry Grant's machines from somewhere and downsized to only producing 9 or so carburetors with re-calibrated circuits and much better quality control.

They also have a clean sheet of papar "street 650" carb which supposedly takes the best approaches from the ThermoQuad, the AFB and Holley 3 barrel all together as one.

I'll be the first to say,I'm not a carb guru...but I tried 4 different holley h/p carbs and tried different tuning methods with no luck. My combo for some reason is very finicky...the AED out of the box has been flawless. Having said that I know they are all holley based and I know someone with more knowledge could have figured my problem out...but for a yahoo like me..AED has my vote.
