Thanks, Anthony.

Although, I can't take all the credit, I built the car to be as rigid as a unibody could be without looking like a jungle gym.

Most of the credit has to go to Calvert Racing.

Believe it or not, I am still using the base line settings provided by Calvert after 2 years on the track.
This spring, I am going to do some suspension & engine tuning and see what she will do.

The secret is just attention to detail.

Just looking at your pics and the rear wheel well is also a different shape than the 64 which would account for me being able to run a different tire size, plus the front lower part of the wheel well used to turn in towards the wheel well slightly and we fixed that when we did the body years ago..

        Joe,
Jonh Calvert uses his bars on his 9 second "9 inch tire" Tbolt clone so why don't you? I'd use an RRS (Aussie) strut conversion (w/modern disc brakes)  and ditch the shock towers. There's too much work and too much room for error (set up wise) on a 4 link. Mini tub it (to the stock frame rails) use the Tom's axles I have that are 1" shorter than the '64 units and 31 spline. That way you can run a "normal" offset 8-1/2" wheel and stay off of the fenders.

What he said ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^this make the most sense unless you go full tubs and narowed read end. Easy and clean.

I use the Calvert stuff too..VERY nice stuff and like you..I use the "factory" settings. I played with them some and had the best '60's not screwing with them. By the way, I've seen low 8 second "leaf" cars with Calverst stuff...so, they will work on just about any HP car. Very Nice Fairlane by the way....clean!

Ive see the Calvert stuff in the 7.60-80 in the quarter range. Artis Houston with his nova and Armen M with his 57 chevy. The stuff works.
