Not alot of posts in here so I will start one with a story,

So a friend of mine with a 89 notch has a pretty damn nice looking car with pretty much stock motor other than a gt40 intake. He put a 100 shot dry kit to it. After much deliberation and repeated arguments he put it on there not listening to me because I kept telling him to use a wet kit for that shot or lower it to a smaller shot. Well need less to the intake exploded through the hood on the second shot. I guess what im saying here is if you want to go to a larger shot make sure you have the right air/fuel mixture. I do not care for dry kits at all. I do believe that NOS is the great equalizer however installs like this is what gives NOS a bad name to alot of people. I will always recommend NOS over alot of other power adders. Also to ensure that where u are filling at is extremely important. But the question that he brought to me was "do u think that alot of how that happened is because the motor is almost stock." I did not know how to answer, just because like I said it was a dry kit. So the question is, is should it have been able to take that shot regardless, or was it just bad tuning.

Exactly what I figured. I know several folks that issues with nitrous purchased there. Check out Mark at MT Performance.

get nitrous from a different place I can speak of this first hand. I had issues once and turned my bottle open at the track and nothing but air was coming out.

Yep, that would also explain how a stang could have a big back fire since the nozzle is shooting mostly fuel (wet kit) and air. Not good.
