What is the preferred type for a bbf? Stock, high volume, high pressure? Going to spin this motor 7500-7800 rpm and plan on running a moroso rear sump pan.

That is a loaded question.
It depends upon how much oil is required.  Different engines with different clearances will use different pumps.

Some Super Stock 436 engines I have built will go over 9,000 RPM with a smaller than stock pump yet some large engines with monster clearances will starve with a high volume pump.
